The bar is the heart of every dormitory. This is where the residents of the house meet regularly to celebrate, drink and escape from the daily routine of the students. It is our little oasis - where we fill up with fuel and where spirits are awakened. There you can listen to music and meet with friends.
The bar is located in the basement at the end of the corridor of house 2.
Often there are public parties given for the whole dormitory. They are planned by the the home council (Heimrat).
The bar can also be used for private events (see below).

Usage hints:
There are many power sockets and also direct USB ports to charge your smartphone or laptop, for example.
Leave the room the way you want to find it in. There is a trash can next to the door, please take empty glass bottles back to your floor or dispose of them directly outside in the containers.
There is a sound system as well as a light system within the bar - perfect for your next party!
The bar also has its own website. This can be reached at bar.wohnheim-rlh.de.
At every bar party, song requests are only accepted via the corresponding form.
Private events in the bar
The bar can be used by residents of the Rudolf-Laun-Haus for private events.
To reserve the bar, directly contact one of the bar tutors. You can find the current contact data on the posting regarding the Heimrat in the dormitory. The current tutors are:

With the exception of holidays and comparable occasions the Bar is usually not rented out for party purposes from Sundays to Thursday.
At the moment the bar is not rented two days in a row for party purposes.
How do I reserve the bar ?
One resident has to take responsibilty for the event as the organiser. He has to acknowledge the terms of use and on the day of the event has to make sure the conditions are met. The most important information is found in the following documents. They have to be signed by the organising resident and handed in to the supervising bar tutor before the event:

Overview of the most important information:
The bar can be reserved with or without the taproom. In the taproom there are two large fridges, a freezer, glasses, a sink and other bar supplies. Reserving the bar without the taproom you have to hand in a deposit of 25,- €. Reserving the bar with the taproom there is a deposit of 100,- €.
The next day the bar has to be handed over clean and undamaged. If a key to the bar was handed out, is has to be returned on time. Otherwise the bar team can retain parts of the deposit (see documents).
From sunday to thursday the bar can only be used till 10 pm. On fridays and saturdays it can be used indefinitely.
The bar will later be painted decoratively by the Heimrat.
